House Hack Experience - Yes or No?

I am throwing around the idea of moving into a multifamily for about a year with a wife and two kids. This would be the start of our investing journey. 

Wanted to get your take and experience on the pros and cons in accomplishing this with two kids under the age of 3? 

Have you done it and would you do it again?

Andrey Les I am currently house hacking with my wife and two kids under 4. It’s done wonders for our family finances. Our unit and the rental unit are only attached at one room so it’s been no problem with noise issues, at least my tenant has not made any complaints. The rent doesn’t cover all the fixed monthly mortgage costs, PITI, but
