Does a LLC cover you in a divorce?

Wondering if anyone knows or actually has been through this before? I currently own 2 duplexes in Michigan. I am looking to start a LLC for liability reasons as well as in case I end up in a divorce, does an LLC save me from losing a portion/or all properties? Has anyone dealt with this before or know anything about it? I am not married at this time. I will be in about 6 months. Purchased both properties under my name and she has not spent a dime on anything. Going forward I think we will keep money separate when married so she won’t have any financial doing going forward. I do live in one side of the duplexes I own. She does as well with me. She pays rent and we split utility bills. Any help would be great! Thanks in advanced.
