Marvin, the first step is to learn how to evaluate properties. Without this all other steps are mute. You need to be able to look at a property and determine what it would cost to renovate and what it would sell for after renovations, then you can determine if the purchase price is a good deal. I would practice by evaluating a few dozen properties to get you comfortable with this process and then you can move on to later steps. Good luck!
