First Rehab Deal (Hard Money)
Hey Bigger Pockets Family! I'm Brandon and I've been studying REI for about 2 years. I've worked under a seasoned investor as an acquisition manager and feel I'm ready to start doing deals. However, financing is a problem right now. I've partnered with well seasoned Realtors & GCs but no luck on closing deals. Recently I found 2 great deals but they fell thru because of financing issues.
I've tried partnering/JVing with experienced investors but for some reason no luck. They might be too busy or just might cut me out of the deal. I and my business partner are trying to use hard money to get started but we don't have that much cash to bring to the table as of right now. & some HMlenders have told me I can't use a loan to put my share of the deal. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Also I'm located in NJ if anyone is willing to network.
