Real estate investing in Texas worth it or invest in other state? I am primarily concerned about the high (2.6%) property taxes. Does it make sense to invest in other states with low property taxes if you live in Texas?

It's been worth it for many investors, including me but it depends greatly on what your expectations are. People are leaving states like CA and moving to Texas for a reason...no state income tax, good business climate (fewer regulations), etc. Follow the UHauls...that will tell you where people are moving and where the growth is.
