Should I do a partnership or go in alone?

I understand that partnership has pros and cons just like everything else. I enjoy doing things on my own, being responsible for my own profits and losses, also when I want to get out of a particular property I’d like to be able to get out without anyone else holding me back or keeping me in. Would it be best to finance property by myself with a low down payment loan or go in with someone else? Also I understand the down payment for a FHA loan is awesome but does does the insurance of the mortgage and other cost wind up making it a worse choice in the long run?
