Using your name in an LLC

Hello Community,

We are just getting started with our buy and hold real-estate company working on getting our first deal. We have an LLC tilted Fawcett & Co. Our goal is to run this business with integrity and in such a way that we would be proud to have our name on it. But I have heard that it might not be wise to use our last name? What are your thoughts and preferences when it comes to using a last name in your business name? Thanks, in advanced!

Thomas and Jenn
