Hello everyone

I'm new here to BiggerPockets. So I'm new to Real Estate and would like to start a business in Real Estate Investing. Ithink now that I have read a few books the ideas are flowing and I need a place to explore my options. So it would be great if I could express my ideas here with some experienced people and I can make my ideas a reality. Right now I'm in the planning stage of how to raise money for my investment. I think I would like to start with flipping houses to gain capital to purchase multifamily homes. I do have a VA loan I can use as well as a small amount for a down payment. Is it possible now to flip houses to make enough profit to buy rental properties? Also are lease options still a thing and how could I go about finding them? In the next 6 months I want to get out and make my first purchase so now is my time to learn so I can be succsessful and not make so many mistakes. I can't wait to discuss this topic and thank you all for your time and help! Also if there are any good books please let me know I love to read!
