Baby and first 2 rentals in 2 days!

I just had to share my story quick and show that plans don't work out the way you always want them to, change in plans isn't always bad.

My wife wasn't due until February 6th with our 3rd little boy. I was set to close on our first 2 rental properties in Cedar Rapids, IA this coming Monday, 1/8/18.

I got a call while at work on 1/4/18 from my wife saying the baby's coming today! About 2 hours later while waiting for c-section I got an email from my realtor saying the closing on the houses was moved up to 1/5/18. So approximately 19 hours apart our 3rd son was born and we closed on our first 2 rental properties. Talk about an exciting couple of days.

I've been wanting to get into real estate for probably 10+ years and glad we were in a position to pull the trigger, even with other life events happening. Keep on pushing the envelope everyone!
