Investing in Baton Rouge, La

Hi, 

I'm from Massachusetts and have 2 rental properties there.  My education and career has taken me to the Baton Rouge area again.

I'm fairly new to the Baton Rouge area (3rd time here) and recently found out my job will have me here for 2+ years.  I'm looking to buy a property to live in as well as invest in the Baton Rouge area.  Is there anyone local I could meet up with and discuss options (things to consider or avoid)?
