New to Real Estate Investing
I recently graduated with my Bachelors from EMU in Construction Management with a good Construction back ground. In Sept 2009 I started a Real Estate Capital company with my partner (which is the financial backer and a Hedge Fund Manger) he has a back ground in distressed loans.
When we created the company we envisioned buying foreclosed homes, selling them on a land contact and creating a bunch of notes. Since then we currently are purchasing rental homes in Michigan. I would like to move into the Chicago market, but feel like I have a lot to learn before I do so. I am very motivated/interested in Real Estate, and feel like I have a great opportunity to build a very successful company.
I would really like to find a job with a Real Estate Development Firm and use my degree, as well as learn more about Real Estate.
Is there anyone who could give me some suggestions on what they would do if you had my opportunity?
