Getting started with pre-approval

Hello BP members, I'm just getting started in real estate investing but may have jumped the gun. I work full-time and want to start investing as well. I was recently approved by a lender for xyz dollars. However, I still need to come up with the 25% down payment. I would like to keep moving forward and find a deal, but I would also like to see if I can locate a partner who will be willing to help with the down payment and share in the proceeds. My goal is to get my first deal going by possibly doing a SFH flip (in Maryland).

Any thoughts you have on how to proceed would be appreciated.
