Western New York Foreclosure Property!

I have a lead on a foreclosed property in the Western New York area!  I'm interested in real estate, but don't have any experience.   This is a single family home on a dead end street in a good school district.  I don't know much about the property, except it needs a roof.   The family just moved out today.  How do I profit from this????
