Good time for a rookie investor college student to invest now?

I'm currently a college student working as a part time barber in the Sacramento area.. I have been doing my research on real estate for some time now and want to know whens a good time to get into the market! I feel like most people in real estate had great success because they got in at the time of market crash with prices very low. Should I wait for another big drop in the market? Invest out of state? I want to get some experience under my belt and make my first deal already. Any advice helps!

Hello @Issaiah Santos,

Good for you for getting started early.  I wish i would have started about a decade earlier than i did!  As far as a market crash, you can't ever tell when or if that is going to happen.  As far as when to start, my opinion would be whenever you can afford it.  Don't stretch yourself to the max, just to "get started."  Once you feel comfortable financially, that is the time to get started.  Until then, keep reading, listening, and learning and you will be just fine! Good luck to you!
