Hey BP!

A good friend and I are partnering up to do REI together. We're discussing roles and responsibilities of our relationship from the start so we're on the same page. As a part of our conversation, we're trying to figure out how each partner will exit the partnership in the future (eg. we own multiple properties and one person wants to stop reinvesting the profits into the business, cash out completely, or some other scenario).

We'd love some tips or ideas on how to structure our exit strategy so our future selves remain friends.
