Starting out in college

Everyone says to start here, so here I am!

What does a college student do to get out of the normal plain life?

I don't own a home, no commitment to another person, and family is not in Michigan so I have a load of time.

What do I aim towards? How do I start?

My credit is low. I have been saving $5000 dollars.

I want to do this now and I am tired of waiting and waiting and waiting to commit to success, I am ready!

All the videos I watch tell you to get your mindset right, well I have, now what are my actionable steps?
