Hi guys.

I'm new to the scene and not yet sure how things work in the real estate investing business. I have been doing research on real estate and also took the free beginners course on real estate investing here on BiggerPockets. I am interested in buy and hold investing but have not yet decided what my niche will be.

I wanted to know where is the best place to start looking for a mentor? I hope to shadow and learn from the best investors and possibly add some value in the lives of people I get to meet.

Hope i get a response to my post.

Thank you.

Welcome! This is an awesome site. I'd start connecting with others in the forum and checking out local rei meet ups and groups. Finding other investors near you will help you learn your market, what strategies others are using, etc. The podcasts on here are awesome, def worth immersing yourself in as you continue to learn. Best of luck to you on your rei journey!
