Duplex vs house hacking
So I'm 17 and currently reading about property investing.
I have known about the house hacking strategy for some time now, but thing is I'm a bit sour on the idea of roommates.
I'm aware it's easy and you have the potential to live free or make money, but I'm a person who needs personal space at the end of the day more than anything.
My question is do you think a duplex could be just as great as house hacking? Or is a duplex more work to do as a person fresh out of high school?
Some side info that may or may not help, I have around $10,000 in mutual fund investments and about $1,000 in my bank account as of this post.
