Looking for a mentor in Central California

Hello, my name is Josh and I like many others on here am new to all of this. I am looking to get started in investing right away. I am looking for a mentor in the Central Valley that may be willing to teach me as well as partner on deals. I have a recent bankruptcy so I think I need to start out with wholesaling and using other peoples money. I do have some construction skills and would be willing to do rehab work as well. My fulltime job enables me to have lots of time of for various investment activities. I have looked at the many guru courses and thought this would be a better place to start before spending thousands on the unknown. I would like to find deals from Fresno to Stockton to start so let me know if there is anything I can do to help you or if you can help me.
