Questions about renting to student!

Good afternoon all,

I'm new to the real estate world and I've decided that I'd like to get my foot in the door by buying a property to rent to my daughter and a few of her classmates. I've heard that some neighborhoods have restrictions on the number of people living in one house if they are not related to each other. My question is, where do you find this information for a given neighborhood?

Thank you in advance!
