Property Taxes When Flipping a Home
Hello! I am new to real estate investing and I have a question (hopefully not a dumb one) that I hope someone can answer for me. When you purchase a home to flip, how do the property taxes fit into my pro-forma? Do I only pay the property taxes when I sell? If I purchase the property in June and sell in October for example, do I pay the taxes when I sell the home for only the months I held it? I am not taking out a loan - I am buying the property cash. Thank you in advance for all your help.
