Hard Money Lenders / Lines of Credit

I'm new to real estate investing, but I'm ready to make my first move. I'm looking to "BRRRR" properties and I'm trying to get financing before I find a property. It makes more sense to me to get pre-approved and then find something you can close on quickly versus trying to find something and then get financing. I'm not sure if that's how investing financing works.

With that said is anyone in the San Diego / Southern California area know of any good hard money lenders (companies)? I don't have the network yet so I think my best bet is to start off with a company.
