Student Loans and Investing

Hi folks, first post, so please excuse any etiquette violations.

I was curious as to the general opinion of student loans and investing for the first time. I was blessed enough to escape undergrad debt free, but decided to go to law school, where I'm in my first year at the moment. At the rate I'm going, I'll take on a little less than $80k of debt when it's all said and done.

After reading Scott Trench's Set for Life, I definitely want my first investment to be a house hack. Would you eliminate all/some/most of your student debt before doing this, or manage both the mortgage and the house payment as you go?

I would appreciate any personal stories or anecdotes, and also greatly appreciate any advice you all can give me.

Marcus
