Just getting my feet wet

Hello Everyone, My name is Anthony and I am new to the forum and investing. I have been working in the marketing field for sometime now and recently started switching gears toward investing. Thanks to BP it has opened my eyes to the world of investing 😃. Considering I am new, I wanted to know if you all had some advice. I have saved up an extra $5,000 to $8,000 to invest. I currently live in Florida and the mobile home and rental market is big here. I have heard of the Lonnie deals but are there other ways to make my small capital grow? I looked into crowd funding as well. I just don't know what the best first step is. Anyone have any ideas where to start? Can you share some of your experience? Thanks
