Foreign Nationals Financing Real Estate

Hey BiggerPockets Community,

I am fairly new on this platform and i just wanted to use this opportunity to introduce myself. I'm an international student from Ghana, been in the states for three years and there was little i could do when it came to real estate, due to my previous circumstances. However, I am ready to take the first step. That's what brings me here today, as a foreign national and student with F1 status, i was wondering what financing options were available to someone in my position. What i have read so far is people paying cash for properties. If there is anyone out there who has been through this phase or has currently or previously helped a foreign national through this phase, i would much appreciate your input pointing me into the right direction. Thank you.
