Do It Yourself Mailing List
Getting ready to start my direct mail campaign - I am wanting to focus on pre-foreclosure, divorces, and probate. Instead of buying a list, however, I plan on getting my info straight from the County Court website that shows the daily filings. I used to be an attorney so know my way around the website and the info it provides. I hope to have a letter or postcard in the mail to the potential sellers within two days of the filing showing up on the website. It may be a little more work than buying a mailing list, but it saves me some cash and gets me in early, I hope. Is this going to give me an edge over people getting the same info from a mailing list they buy? Is being in contact before the competition even that much of an advantage? Am I wasting my time by doing the legwork myself?
