Realestate license to invest?

I've owned two homes in the Salt Lake area for over a year now and have them both rented out bringing in positive cash flow. I feel that I've started out in the right direction but I want to take the next step in real estate investing and start diving into foreclosure properties, multi unit properties and so on. My question is how important is it to have your Realestate license to move forward with this?
