Looking to make a career change

Hello,

I just got my MBA with a concentration in finance and I am looking to make a career change. Currently, I'm working full-time in a completely unrelated field, with no professional experience in real estate at all. I am interested in ultimately becoming a full-time investor, but like most newbies I don't have the capital so I have to find a "real" job for now :) As I'm planning to completely change careers anyway, I am looking at different areas of real estate. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what jobs within the industry would be good entry-level positions to learn as many relevant investing skills as possible while saving up to create my own portfolio? Are there benefits to being an agent vs. a broker, or would lending be the best place to learn? Any advice would be greatly appreciated, also if anyone knows of any job openings in the Pittsburgh area, that would be helpful too! Thank you!

Megan
