Online wholesaling from anywhere. Advice needed

Hi everyone, I have taken real estate investing classes and when I lived in Las Vegas I participated in some networking groups. I have not gotten my first deal under my belt yet. My husband and I are living in Nicaragua for six months and I was wondering if I should keep trying to do my first wholesale deal all online. Is it a good idea if I don't have much experience? I am willing to put in the work and I finally have the time to do so. Thank you in advance!
