EDUCATION, FUNDING AND THE "GURUS", THE REI DILEMA

So, new to the REI arena, made the decision that is the right business for me, trying to get informed, educated in the complicated subjects of REI, but found myself in no man land. It is incredible the vast amount of information and disinformation on the subject of REI out there in the internet. But it is been refreshing, to say the least, to have found the BP website. So, for what I have gathered in my researches, before I found BP, is that apparently the profits in REI are not for doing the actual business, but rather becoming a guru and talk, and talk, and talk, about the business and how successful it can be by buying some sort of proven program at prices that you may as well, just use it as a down payment in an actual property I would say :)). And these people, so call expert, gurus, and the likes, seem to omit the fact that, really funding is the main ingredient, regardless of how many people talk, and talk, and talk, about how can you start with no money, no credit, etc. Speaking of which, credit, very, very important, despise of the claims out there to the contrary. So I am making a promise a commitment to myself moving forward, I pledge that when I make it in the business, my guruuu contribution will be to be a lender, to offer real help and real solutions to people looking to start in the business. I pledge not to ********, gurushit people to sell them anything, but to provide real solutions, real applicable advice and funding to those who seek my help and/or support. That will be my pledge moving forward. Funding and education in REI go hand and hand, but funding is the upper hand in that handshake.

Thank you in advance for your insights. I'm very happy I found this website, community among the great amount of noise and disinformation out there. Keep up the great job, and I hope to be a contributor to the cause soon enough after I get more expertise, and my act together. It's not a matter of how, but when. I will succeed in this business. It is the right business for me, for my goals in life, and I am NOT looking back, no matter how hard or impossible the road seem to be at times.
