Looking At Investing In The U.S.

Hello,

My name is Tyler and I am a Canadian investor looking at investing in the U.S. marketplace. I personally am looking more for buy & hold or fix & hold properties. I just don't feel comfortable enough trying to fix and flip from this far away. Maybe with the right partner in place, however, until then I will be looking at these options. My local market has condos in the mid $150,000 range and starter single-family homes in the $300,000 range on the low end and $500,000 in mid range. I looked at housing prices south of the border and it makes much more sense on a price to rent ratio. I was wondering what areas people think are great and not over saturated. I want to focus on a singular area and buy within the next 6 months at the latest. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Sincerely,

Tyler Ferguson
