Total cost of purchasing and maintaining first property?

I'm very new to the real estate investment world and was hoping to get started and purchase my first property within the next year or two. I was wondering if anyone could give me a complete list of all the costs that come with buying and maintaining a home? I want to be as prepared as possible before I make this first step and want to make sure I have enough money in the bank to cover any unexpected costs or emergencies that you wouldn't have if you were renting.
