I'm new to this and am in search of some great advice!
Hello, my name is Mia and I have had a dream for many years to be a real estate investor and flip homes. I decided that I am going to go for it, but chose to start with being a property scout. I got in touch with a couple of cash buyers and they basically told me to make some flyers and business cards, find boarded up houses (there are a lot in Chicago) and find homes that are for sale by owner. I recently ordered some business cards and made flyers, but in the mean time I went and looked for some boarded up houses. It is not as easy as they make it out to be. I had to do so much research only to find out the houses were ineligible to sell and I got a little discouraged. I wanted to reach out to others in this field and get some advice on how to go about this. I know I just started, but I would like to do this right and be successful. Thank you very much in advanced!!
