Newbie looking for any suggestions/advice on next step to take

Hello everyone! I am a complete newbie in the real estate business and I am looking for some advice and/or suggestions on steps I should take to start in the business of flipping real estate and hopefully meet some great people while doing it. Me and my wife have been interested in real estate for about a year now but have not made any attempts to actually get involved. These past few months we actually have been educating ourself about the business through YouTube videos and webinars and from reading people's questions and responses from forums like this. I recently reached out to some realtors I know who are on board with working with me. I've done construction most of my life so I know contractors that will work with me as well. If anyone could please give me any suggestions on the next step I should take as well as ask any questions you may have for me, feel free! Open to feedback as well. Thanks everyone for their time!
