New to BP and Willing to Learn

Hello everyone,

My Name is Jordan Walbecq and I am new to BP community.  Have been listening to the podcast for a few months and thought I should be more actionable about my real estate goals.  I moved to Denver in August of 2016 for graduate school.  Prior to moving to Denver, I had many ambitions of house flipping in my hometown of Detroit, but realized the housing market was much more expensive in Denver.  Plus my income has been significantly cut by being only a part time employee and taking graduate courses. Though I do not have the best financial set up to invest, I have caught the real estate bug once again and want get my foot the door any way I can.

I know that being frugal, and saving pennies is the first step, but I want to be more hands on than that.  That's why I came here to ask what exactly  I can do to get more experience in the real estate realm.  Reading books and listening to podcast are fine but I want to take action and immerse myself within the business.  Let me know what you guys think.
