Reaching Out From Long Island!

Hello BP! I am a want to be investor and eager to network and learn as much as i can; and would like to see if anyone else in Long Island, NY is active. Im 23 and a union plumber in NYC. I want to use my job as a stepping stone into the REI world as an investor. I am currently trying to figure a way to "creatively finance" my first deal when i do find one. Im thinking hard money lender so if any are on these boards from Long Island please reach out, so i have someone to go to when i find a deal! I would love to also hear some input on where to go for education and good reads on getting started. im currently reading the @Brandon Turner book No Money Down. Some inspiring words for someone with little to no money but eager to invest. I have all the connections i need for construction and remodeling its all a matter of finding and financing. So if any fellow Long Islanders want to reach out lets grab a coffee and network and put together a group of like minded investors! --Vinnie O'Brien
