Mentoring Opportunity Gone Well

Had a really great "mentoring session" yesterday with a new investor (@Account Closed).  Fadi took the initiative to reach out to me and offer his services, assisting me on a maintenance trip to one of my rental properties. It wasn't all glamorous as we were fixing a clogged drain and repainting a mailbox (yes, I still do this stuff but it allows me to get over to my properties on a quarterly basis).

While traveling to/from we got to talk a lot about real estate.  We also got to check out a property for sale that we spotted in route.  And we also made it to a property listed by a wholesaler with a lot of investing experience.  We got to check out this property and evaluate it for repairs, etc.  And we got to learn some interesting perspectives about Section 8, appraisal considerations, and overall property analysis.

We both learned a lot and made some new connections.  It was a valuable experience for me and hope it was for Fadi.  Thanks for hanging with me!
