First purchase analysis needed

Hey everybody, This is my first post. I'm a newbie who is trying to pull the trigger on a first purchase. I've narrowed my search to duplexes and hope to get some help analyzing a place I'm considering. Stats: Duplex Gross monthly income is 1550 Net after PITI is 522 They are asking 120,000 The house is basically turnkey with the majority of things like water heater furnace being replaced in the last 5-10 years. I'm expecting to be competing with another offer as every duplex I have looked at in our city has had multiple offers within days of posting. It's in a safe stable neighborhood (B class) and has long term tenants that want to stay. Any thoughts about this being a good or bad first investment are welcome. What else do I need to consider? I'm usually just a lurker... please be gentle ;)
