Newbie Starting Out Kansas City ...Help!!!!

Hello everyone im new to BP im a young ambitious newbie investor here to learn and make new contacts. I have been interested in real estate for a while now but have been sort of confused on how to start off. I have been trying to come up with goals for the new year that is fastly approaching. But I have yet come up with any or a plan!!! So I guess what I need is a plan or goals I can have in writing to work toward. I have been reading and attended the Cash Flow Generator Workshop which was $299.99 dollars and I learned alot of information. Any contacts made, advice given or comments made would be appreciated.
