Can startup expenses be claimed if not rented in 2016?
Hey Everyone,
I just got started in Q4 of 2016. I purchased a rental, made some repairs and got it on the market as quickly as possible. However, I was unable to contract a renter until 2017. Can I still deduct my expenses since there is no income to apply against it?
