Basic LLC start-up questions
Hi All,
My wife and I have recently decided to rent out our house. We have gone through the necessary steps of creating an LLC, Quit Claiming the property into the LLC but I still have a few lingering questions. As a general background our intention is try and rope in corporate type rentals, ideally we are looking at 3 month terms. My questions are:
1) Is it generally common practice to put the note on the residence into the LLC? If so, is there a quick and easy way to do this (similar to a Quit Claim in the title world).
2) Is it advisable to put all of our bills into the LLC name?
Thanks in advance for any advice.
Cheers!
Jared
