Should I start now, or wait until I graduate?

Hey everyone, I'm looking forward to joining the community you have here! I'm new to investing but have been studying it for a while now.

I'm a college student right now who's goal has always been to graduate without any student loans. I have been lucky enough to get scholarships and a good paying job to make that possible for me. I will be going into my senior year with roughly $14,000 which would be just enough to graduate debt free if I chose to do so.

My problem is that I've been eager to start investing for years now but due to my goal of graduating without any debt I essentially already have plans for the money other than investing it. I'm finding myself caring less and less about graduating without any loans, and more about starting investing now. My question is, should I buy my first property now and just take out a loan for my last year at school? I would love to get started now to have some extra time on my side.

I live in a college town in Kansas with a very high demand for rental properties and I have seen several deals that I believe I could make 10-15% ROI on.

I just wanted to hear what some more experienced people might think about my idea. Thanks in advance guys!
