New to Investing Looking for Rentals

I'm from Westchester County, NY looking to invest in a rental property.  Is anyone here familiar with Newburgh City, NY in Orange County?  I see multi family buildings in need of much work but can be bought for much less than I can get in Westchester.  The city itself also needs work but I see some rehab going on from the websites I've been ready. Wondering if buying a condemned multi family, fixing it up and renting it will benefit me long term. be Thoughts??

Hi Kimberly, welcome to BP!! I'm from NYC and it's so competitive and expensive here, even in westchester. I like where you're going with the rental buildings in Newburgh. Let's connect and brainstorm!
