FHA Primary Residence Requirement Split
Hello BP,
I'm currently looking at buying my first property, a fourplex through an FHA loan. I would be splinting this loan and initial investment with my mother so both of our names would be on the note. Now I will only be able to spend weekends (3 days a week) there because of school and work, and my mom works by this property 2 days a week and could stay there for those two days (All different days). So my question is would this split between the two of us fulfill the first year primary residence requirement?
