Question about Atlanta neighborhood

Hello,

I am interested in learning more about Cabbagetown/Grant Park area. Can anyone offer insight on the current metrics there? I will not be ready to purchase for another year so I'm just trying to figure out how to analyze properties out there.

I'm looking for things like: demographics, rent prices, purchase prices, etc.. The selling prices I've seen seem to hover between 200k and 300k, generally speaking. Does that seem about right?

Thank you,

Marcus

Very different neighborhoods and houses, even though they're close. Grant Park has mostly Victorians around 2000sqf or more. Sales these days are in the 400-600K range and even more.

Cabbagetown has mostly small shotgun mill cottages, that were initially built for the workers and are around 1000sqf. You may buy for 200-300K there.

Depending on what your goal is, both of those neighborhoods are quite advanced and it wouldn't be easy to find deals there. Or are you planning to buy one for yourself to live in?
