Starting a LLC with Siblings

Hi everyone!

My siblings and I have recently decided to join forces and invest together. We are considering forming a LLC to hold and purchase investments. We all live in different cities but travel to our home state of Alabama often. Should we form in AL? I've heard that most investors form in different states for the tax savings and other benefits... I have read several things on forming LLC's in different states... the PROS and CONS... Does anyone have any insight on what would be the best way/place to form the business?

@Account Closed Ok. So you're saying buy the properties in each individuals name and nothing more? Could you give an example of how a insurance policy could be better? First time hearing something like that... curious to know.
