Next steps in investing
I have lived and worked overseas for a non-profit for the last couple of decades. We invested exclusively in the stock market until last year. Last year we bought our first duplex (62k). I grew up in Indiana and have a sister in Indy so this is where we bought. We hired a PM company in Indy and so far it has worked out fine (vs great). We would like to make another investment. We would like to find a 4-6 plex and are rethinking location and structure. I do not see a huge incentive in staying in Indy and if we could find high returns we would look elsewhere. Am I wrong? Is there an advantage to going above a 4 plex and using a commercial realtor and lender? Should I setup an LLC before we do anymore investing. Is this realistic from several thousand miles away. Thanks, Steve
