Ok everyone I have my real estate license in PA but I'm stuck in a dead end job with no savings. MLS fees are $500 bucks that I don't have at the moment and time really isn't on my side when it comes to finding listings. What is some tips that you can give me for genorating leads and utilizing my RE license to maximize my income!? My goal is to be a REI but this beginning process is so very difficult.

@Kevin Stone , first off, keep your dead end job until your real estate agent job takes off for an extended period of time and you have some savings to help you ride out the slower times.

Second, what do your finances look like? Have you ever tracked how much you spend? Do you currently have a budget? There are almost always things you can cut out of your life to save some money. Cable, cheaper cell service, different insurance company, higher deductibles.

Do you have a car payment? Can you sell the car and buy a less expensive one that comes with no payment?

Do you have other opportunities to increase your income? Can you tutor, get a second job, ask for a raise or change jobs? Do you have anything you can sell?
