Hello There. My name is Brian... I'd like some tips on how to get started. I don't have much money to invest with. I'm trying to learn as much about it as I can. In the town I live in, the economy has declined over the years.. There are homes going up for sale around here everyday.

Good morning Brian,

Believe it or not, having little/no money is not the biggest obstacle right now. BP is the best place to be for learning all there is to know about real estate investing.

The best tip I can give you is to read and learn the basics then branch out into whatever aspect of real estate you think fits best with your situation and goals. You can start with the free e-books that BP offers and also check out some of the other books in the bookstore.

Make this your top priority and in a short time period you'll have a clearer path for yourself. Listen to the podcasts, read the blogs, stay active on these forums and attend local REIA meetings to begin meeting people who are doing what you want to someday do.

Best of luck to you!
