I want to get started. Where do I begin?

I'm currently a high school senior and have no experience in real estate, but the idea of investing really interests me. I've done some research online, and I still have no idea of where to start. There seems to be a vast amount of methods, but I'm not sure which would be best for me. Any suggestions for where I should start would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance,

Rich

Richard Hannig you are very fortunate to have interest at such a young age. I bought my first property when I was 23. You've got a good 5 year head start on that! Going back, if I were to start fresh I would've "house hacked" my first property with a duplex or triplex. I wouldn't have bought a SF home. You should start by Looking into your area and find what those are going for and start saving up with small targets in mind. Set small milestones.. $1,000. Then $2500. Then $5,000 and so on. Starting off with a goal of $10,000 will seem so far away and you may lose focus. You've come to a great place to learn! Watch/listen to every seminar Bigger Pockets offers. You are sure to learn from each and every one of them. Feel free to reach out with any questions you have!
